A Not So Serious card of a Serious Cat.

Someone asked me to do a card for their mother of her mother's favorite cat. She gave me the picture and so I roughed out a couple of pencil sketches and inked them. Then I went over the sketches with a kneaded eraser to get rid of the pencil marks.
After that I scanned those two sketches and digitally colored the sketch I liked the most with Photoshop Elements and my Bamboo Pad. I next copied and pasted that sketch onto a picture of some wood panel and added bubbles.
I left the right side blank so text could be added to the card.

Monkey on a Bomb

This just started out as a pencil sketch with my character doing something else. It just kind of morphed into this.

I haven't drawn a car for a while, so I roughed this one out in pencil. Then I inked the lines that I liked with a couple of pens. After that I went over the inked drawing with an eraser and got rid of the pencil lines.

Next I colored the car with my Bamboo pad and an older version of Photoshop Elements. Then I made a background for the car and copied and pasted the car onto that, again with Photoshop Elements.

I have a new sketchbook and a new scanner, so I thought I would use both. Just a number 2 pencil.

Here is a pencil sketch I did last night while watching tv. Not perfect, but an idea. That is what sketches are for sometimes.
I added color and text with Photoshop Elements.

Halloween Hearse in a Cemetery Cartoon

I drew the hearse in this one last year. Too late for Halloween, so I thought I would do something with it this year.

Ink sketch of a Hippie Bus on a paper bag.

Here is an ink sketch I did of a bus on a paper bag for my Deadhead sister in law, so you can say the logo on the side is fan art. It is my sister in laws birthday and in fact she does own a very similar bus. 

I couldn't adjust the colors to match what it really looks like, it is too red. So just imagine a brown paper bag from the grocery store. 

Dragon Boat Skeleton Crew

My wife's birthday is coming up soon, so I took an image that I previously drew and pasted it to a newback ground that I made up. She is on a dragon boat team.
I am going to try to get it printed on a t shirt.
This will be the first time that I have tried to have a t shirt made of one of my drawings. I will post a picture of the t shirt if it works out.
