Some pencil sketches

Here are a few pencils sketches. Some practice, some ideas, some just because. :)

Abraham Lincoln, another hero of mine. I added the halo as an after thought.

This was taken from a photo collection from the early 1900"s.

This one is pen and pencil on a two and a half by three and a half inch newsprint.

Our cat Bella gets a new playmate.

Our son's cat, Guermo, moved in with us for the time being. He needs a home for now and is a neat looking cat. A bit distrutcive, though. Our cat Bella is not so pleased about this new situation.
I drew a picture of her new attitude and added some stuff with Photoshop.

Here is a pencil sketch of her, with a little text added. From last night when we had some time together alone.

The dog is similar to the "Hard Times" cat that I drew a few weeks back. I wanted to see how a dog might look. I like the cat better.
