My cat Sylar as the joker card and a pencil cartoon of me and the cats.

Not too much to say about these. Just a couple of cartoons done recently.

A cartoon about the Twilight movies.

Aunt Bee loves the Twilight movies. Because of this I have seen my share of them. So the other day she was mentioning the new one being out.  I was trying to figure out a way not to go.
Not that I don't enjoy my time with Aunt Bee and not that I won't go, but I am hoping she finds a girlfriend to go with.

This was a pencil drawing inked and colored it with Photoshop, trying to give it a retro cartoon feel.
I added the word swoon because I think swoon is a funny word.

Done with pencil, then inked and colored with the computer.

Pencil Sketches to change the subject.

OK, so I really didn't know how to title this, but I wanted to leave the Halloween theme from the past couple of posts.
I didn't really have too much I wanted to show, but these quick pencil sketches were fun to do, so I thought lI would share them.

I got the idea for the rosy cheeks on the first one from a cartoon character my kids used to watch, Pickachu. A bit of color seems to make some sketches a bit more interesting.

More ladies.

Another lady.

And last, this is just an idea. Kind of one of my purposes for sketching. I can always come back to this to explore later. Laughing cats.

A Halloween Playlist, a simple pencil sketch colored with my computer.

This was a simple pencil sketch that I colored the other night while Aunt Bee was helping Blind Ambition with their fund raiser. I thought of some better spooky songs after I was done, oh well.
"I Put a Spell On You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, "The Ghost of Stephen Foster" and "Hell" by Squirrel Nut Zippers and the list goes on.

This video of Screamin' Jay Hawkins makes me smile every time I watch it. Screamin' Jay had a fantastic voice and he preformed this number with a great deal of humor.
Watch it if you dare! Bwahahahahahahahaha!

Masks for Halloween made from paper bags.

I got the idea for the bag masks from a couple of things I saw on the internet. The designs are mine and they were quite easy to do.
I used regular grocery bags cut off on the bottom so my head would be at the top of the bag. I also cut semi circles on either side to go over my shoulders.
Next I sketched out the faces on the bag with pencil. Then I used whatever I could find for coloring these Magic markers, prismacolor coloring sticks mostly.
They are a bit cumbersome, but we will only be wearing these for a few minutes. There are probably some ways to modify these for more mobility, though.
Aunt Bee took these photos with her new phone.

A pencil sketch about anxiety, colored with computer, and a witch.

Hello to everyone stopping by. It's fall here and I have been thinking of Halloween a bit. I just like the time of year and the festivity of it all!
Also, I am still learning to color my drawings with Photoshop. I am getting better, I think, but still have some learning to do. I guess I should go online and study more. :)

Bella the cat goes Gaga.

I think it's just a phase she's going through...
Actually this was a card for Chumley's birthday. Bella goes Gaga for your birthday.

A Caricature of Lady Gaga

I'm not a big fan of Lady Gaga, but I do find her costumes, wigs and accessories quite interesting. I thought it would be fun to do a cartoon of her and it was.

I saw this and I thought I would add it as a curiosity. And I thought my cats, Bella and Sylar were different. lol
Years ago I got a siamese kitten from a breeder for free, because she had a white paw and was considered imperfect. She was a great cat and she lived to 17 years.
We named her Lucky, because we always said she was lucky she wasn't disposed of as a kitten. She was part of the family and a good companion.

A Monkey Surfing on a Shark

This was a pencil sketch colored with my computer.
I had this idea for a while, just got around to doing it.
