This was just a slow cartoony one I did casually off and on yesterday and colored this morning. I think it's a 1955 Chevy.
I just thought I would add this one I did last week. I debated whether or not to publish it. I was looking at old pin ups and cartoons. I sketched this out and colored it.
Hi, all. This was a pen drawing I did the other day while watching tv. I just now got around to coloring it.
It was done using a friend's dog's photo as a reference. This dog is a rescue dog and it appears to be a full breed Boston Terrier.
Here are a few pencil sketches from out and about, here in Portland. Some done pretty quickly.
The first two are from Waterfront Park in Portland by the Hawthorne bridge. The second from and auction I went to about a month ago. I got a pretty good likeness of the auctioneer.
From the park yesterday, June 5, 2013. Really nice weather.
Again from the waterfront a couple of weeks ago.
An auction I went to. I got a pretty good likeness of the auctioneer.
I only sketched out a couple of things this week. A line drawing of my cat, Bella, which I colored and pasted on a back round photo. Plus a pencil sketch of a foot about to step on a tarantula.
Don't worry. Bella's eyes are fine, the glasses are just a fashion statement.
This morning as I was waking up I could hear this song by Smashing Pumpkins, "Bullet With Butterfly Wings". While I was watching cartoons of prison rats.
When I finish my little sketch I looked for a bible verse to go with it and found this quote.
This was my project this week. I wanted to learn more about Photoshop and to use my Wacom Bamboo Pad for more than just coloring.
It started out as a loose pencil sketch.
Inked with my computer.
Colored
After coloring my image I copied it and pasted it to a back round that I made. For the back round I used two images that I got from Morguefile, a free to use image site.
I just pasted the two images on top of each other and adjusted the opacity of both until I got what I wanted. Then added my text.
